What is the Build Verdis Competition?

Verdis is now looking to the future, to determine visual shape of the country, including amenities, roadways, border points, transportation, district planning, residential zones, parks, recreation, and other essential infrastructure to benefit the residents of the country.

How can I get involved?

We want to hear from the community about what they would like to see in the republic, and the ideas they would like to propose. There are no rules to this, and you can suggest whatever you like. All ideas are welcome! These ideas will later be reviewed based on popularity and individual merit, then sent to competitors to work with.

We are searching for a 2D top-down representation of how this infrastructure will be placed.

The winning 2D maps will then be presented to the 3D competitors, who will label out and realistically visualise the country in regards to height and other essential considerations.

We would like 3D competitors to also look to convert these visualisations into a explorable map where our community can walk around and experience what Verdis could look like in the future.

For each map design winner, there will be a cash prize and an opportunity to become a citizen of the Free Republic of Verdis.
